USC Upstate

A newly refreshed higher education brand needed a website with a mission.


My team and I were happy to oblige. 

The University of South Carolina Upstate recently renovated its brand and requested a website to match its fresh, innovative look and messaging. Diving deep into the new brand guidelines, my creative and UX team and I worked alongside the University’s dedicated marketing team to artfully extrapolate all the elements and messaging that would stand out to right-fit students. 

Once we had the strategy in place, it was time to produce. The USC Upstate team had established the messaging foundation. I built upon it, creating compelling copy to complement the eye-catching web design on key pages. I also collaborated with our UX designer, deciding what messaging went where to tell the University’s story in the most effective way.

The result: An award-winning website to help students reach new heights.
